What Is the Healing Process?
Healing from lip neutralization is similar to lip blush but can be slightly more involved because we are working with deeper pigment correction.
Days 1 to 3: Your lips will look brighter and more saturated than the final result. Some swelling is normal. Keep your lips moisturized with the provided balm.
Days 4 to 7: Peeling and flaking begin. Do not pick at the flakes. Your lips may look patchy during this phase, which is completely normal.
Weeks 2 to 4: The colour softens significantly, often by 40 to 50 percent. The true healed tone starts to emerge.
Weeks 6 to 8: Your lips are fully healed. This is when we assess whether a second session is needed to build more colour or refine the tone.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients need 2 to 3 sessions spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart. The first session does the heavy lifting of neutralizing dark tones. The second session refines and builds your target colour. A third session is sometimes needed for very dark lips or if you want a richer final colour.
